ABOUT
One bedroom holiday apartment in Portimão with large balcony located on the ground floor of private condominium with swimming pool and garden. Calm area hidden from hustle and bustle of the centre but still only 700m (app. 10 minutes walk) from the spectacular beach Praia da Rocha and 1km from Praia dos Três Castelos where you can find plenty of shops, restaurants and leisure activities. Flat fits up to 4 people and it is family and pets friendly. Only a short walking distance from the nearest grocery shop.

Apartment consists of :
- Entry hall with large double wardrobe
- One bedroom with 2 single beds (that can be joined together as double bed) ,dresser, bench and TV
- Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge, oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster
- Living room (jointly with kitchen) with sofabed (for 2 people), table for 4, AC and TV
- One bathroom with bath tube, sink, WC, bidet and hair dryer
- Large balcony of 26m2 with lounge area and outside table for 4 that can be accessed from both living room and bedroom
- Storage unit on the balcony with washing machine

Praia da Rocha
Praia da Rocha is one of the most iconic beaches in the Algarve with impressive rock formations that stretches for 1.5km. Praia da Rocha caters for needs of all kinds of clientele: families, middle-aged and senior holidaymakers looking for relaxation at the beach and fine dining as well as young people looking for fun time at the numerous bars and clubs along the beach and beach activities like surfing, sea-kayaking, boat tours.
Portimão centre
& Zona Ribeirinha
Portimão is not only pristine beaches, but there is surprising amount of tourist sights to be seen within the city located app. 3 km inland from Praia da Rocha on the bank of Arade river. Start your tour at Museu do Portimão to learn about the history and the heritage of the city. Wander from the museum up along the Ribeirinha (the old harbourfront) to the Jardim Visconde Bivar. This is an 800m walk and passes marinas and docks. See the Jardim 1 de Dezembro plaza with its tile paintings and stop for coffee and cake at the Pastelaria Arade. View the outside of the baroque Camãra Municipal do Portimão (city hall). Visit the Praça da República and enter the Igreja do Colégio with its auster interior. Head to the Nossa Senhora da Conceição, the main church of the city. Visit the Mercado do Portimão - the traditional morning market.
Praia dos Três Castelos
Praia dos Três Castelos is bordered in the east by Praia da Rocha. There is a big cliff, which separates the two beaches. There is a tunnel through this cliff, so you can easily reach Praia da Rocha on foot, without having to go back up the cliff. Literally, the name Praia dos Três Castelos means three castles beach. The name of this beach comes from the three largest rocks in the water, which characterize the beach. The sand on this beach is golden and nice to walk on. It is also a good beach for swimming.
Marina de Portimão & Fortaleza de Santa Catarina
Portimão Marina is a glamorous destination in the Algarve, next to the holiday hotspot of Praia da Rocha on one side of the river and overlooking the quaint fishing village of Ferragudo on the other side. It is not only a safe haven for sailors, but also a lively and fun spot to spend sunny summer days or to watch the waves in the winter. There are a number of great restaurants and bars along the marina front, making this a top night spot, especially during the summer months when open air parties and beach night clubs open up. You can also visit Fortaleza de Santa Catarina. The fortress was built during the period (1581 to 1640) when Portugal was under the control of its larger neighbor, Spain. It was built to protect incursion up the River Arade to Silves from pirates and the Moors.

Praia do Vau
Praia dos Vau is the beach situated only 2 kilometres west of Praia da Rocha. It is a good choice if you want to escape the huge crowds, that spend their summer in Praia da Rocha or the centre of Portimão. Praia do Vau is surrounded by impressive red coloured cliffs, giving the visitors of this beach a spectacular view. Take a snack at the nearby Bar Pai Tomás to enjoy the view. The cliffs also block a part of the wind, making the beach a bit sheltered.
Ferragudo
Sitting at the Arade River’s mouth, bordered by steeps cliffs and beaches, is the prettiest village in the Algarve. It’s directly across the Arade River from Portimão, but Ferragudo escaped the overdevelopment of its neighbor and maintains much of the charm of a fishing village. The peacefulness and old-world charm of Ferragudo with its whitewashed cottages, flowers, hillside streets, and cute boats make it the perfect Portuguese getaway. Enjoy lunch or dinner in this lovely little town in one of its numerous seafood restaurants .

Prices vary depending on season and length of stay.
We are usually renting the flat on short term basis (min. 5 days) from June until September and on long term basis (min. one month) from October until May.
